About me

For years, the traditional protest strategies seemed to me insufficient in relation to the crises piling up higher and higher.

In 2018, I had the idea to create an initiative to develop responses to the challenging ecological issues of our time from the realm of art. Since that time my idea of activism has changed a lot. Decisive influence on my idea of a contemporary activism had the idea of a social sculpture as Joseph Beuys developed it, anthroposophical and indigenous views, the concept of a Living Planet by Charles Eisenstein and the idea of a postactivism as Bayo Akomolafe coined it.

Phillip Maiwald

Phillip Maiwald studied fine arts, is a storybook author and works in the field of autism. He believes in utopias and stubbornly clings to the idea that beauty alone can save the world. He came up with the idea of Civil Integrity, coordinates the initiatives, works on campaigns and is responsible for the areas press and social media.
